Comprehensive Sexuality Education Presentation

The Empowered Families Coalition recently shared their presentation about Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) for Big Ocean Leaders. This presentation has some Utah-specific information, but pertains to all states encountering CSE. You are welcome to use it for your cottage, at your discretion. Here are a few of the slides. Reframing CSE

We hope that cottage leaders who use this will reframe the information and create positive solutions around teaching children about sexuality.

Provo Cottage “The Birds and The Bees: Talking to your kids about sex”

One example of this was the Provo Cottage and their community education event where they gathered a panel of experts and asked them to talk about how parents can talk to their kids about sex. You can see that panel discussion here.

Digital Citizenship Conferences

Another positive reframe are the Digital Citizenship Conferences held worldwide by EPIK Deliberate Digital International. EPIK encouraged us to EXPAND the conversation around kids and technology, EXPAND our networks, and EXPAND our shared impact toward a more Positive DigCit culture.
