Occasionally we run across something on social media that captures the very essence and application of our monthly tenet. You might call it media magic. Here is such a post from Brie Howell Roeller, used with her permission.
Next time you find yourself complaining about your life, stop & ask, “What can I do to change this?”
Understand that you have the power to change whatever it is in your life that you dislike. Your only regret will be that that you didn’t change it sooner. I wish I had.
Choose joy. Choose to only invest time and effort in things that offer back positive in return.
A couple years ago, pregnant with M, working 60+ hours a week, I was exhausted and burnt out, for someone else’s dream. I knew I wanted to stay home with my babes. So I quit and started my own thing. Working towards my OWN DREAM. I’m so glad I choose to do that and took the leap to live without that income for a bit & replace it with something more fulfilling for me. That then led me to an opportunity to replace that income for us while being home with my babes and helping us to reach our own dreams for our family.
“What do you dislike about your life?”
We could all list a couple of things, or a long laundry list I’m sure…
But here’s the true question: “What are you going to do to change it?”
